Rev. Chris Lybarger, Senior pastor

Pastor Chris was born in St.Louis Mo and raised in the Missouri/Illinois area. He was raised in a Godly Christian home by parents who had a passion for evangelism. God had His hand on our pastor and he preached his first sermon at the age of 12.

He went off to college at Tennessee Temple University and to Andersonville Baptist Theological Seminary where he received a Bachelor’s in Theology and his Master’s in Pastoral Counseling.

Pastor Chris has had the privilege to serve a number of churches as Pastor and Associate Pastor. He also has served on many boards and committees at the association level. God has blessed our pastor to be able to preach the Word of God in a very direct way as well as making it relevant to our world today. God has also blessed our pastor with the ability to take a smaller church and watch the Lord transform it into a strong, growing, thriving work of God. Often times using humor as well as the gift of love and encouragement he creates an atmosphere to make everyone feel like they are important and count. Fellowship first Baptist is truly a place you can call home. 



Rev. David Evans, Associate pastor

Pastor Dave serves as our full-time Associate Pastor and Youth Pastor. He has lived almost all of his life in the Jefferson County Missouri area.
After graduating high school, Dave began working a secular job and remained in the secular work arena for more than 20 years before God opened the door for him to come on staff here at Fellowship in 1997.

Pastor Dave grew up in a Christian home where he was taught about God’s love from his earliest childhood days. He has been involved in working in the church since his teenage years when he began teaching a Sunday School class at the age of 17. He surrendered to full-time service in 1994 and began serving as Youth Pastor on a part-time basis. He recently received his Certificate in Ministry and Leadership Degree from Missouri Baptist University.

He has a tremendous heart and love for teenagers. He has a great passion for teenagers to understand the love God has for them, to help them grow in their beliefs and then to pass on what they have experienced to their peers.
